SPECIFICATIONS
The 2022 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 300 is built on the largest Sea-Doo platform available. This ST3 hull is made of fiberglass and offers industry-standard stability. You can find the same platform under the RXT-X 300 as well as the Sea-Doo Fish Pro Trophy.
Regarding dimensions, the GTX Limited 300 is 135.9 inches long, 49.4 inches wide, and 44.8 inches high. The dry weight of the craft is an impressive 849 pounds which translates to an approximate curb weight of 1,000 pounds.
Thanks to this large and stable body, the GTX Limited 300 is rated for 3 passengers and offers a weight capacity of 600 pounds.
The fuel capacity of the craft is 18.5 gallons, and overall storage capacity is 26.1 gallons, which means 25.3-gallon front storage and a 0.8-gallon glove box.

Sea-Doo GTX Limited 300 Engine and Propulsion
The engine of the Sea-Doo GTX Limited 300 is a high-performance 4-stroke Rotax 1630 ACE 300.
This 1630cc SOHC (Single Over Head Camshaft) 12-valve triple is boosted with a supercharger and cranks out 300 HP at 8,000 RPM.
The key features of this engine are as follows:
-
Electronic fuel injection system
-
Supercharger with external intercooler,
-
D-Sea-Bel system for effective noise reduction
Although this model is one of the most powerful Sea-Doos ever built, it provides a comfortable boat-like experience. The increased dimensions and stability of the ST3 platform also mean a less nimble and agile attitude.
Therefore, compared to the performance-intended RXP-X 300 or the smaller Recreation and Rec-Lite Sea-Doo skis, the GTX offers less playful rides.
The “official” top speed of the Sea-Doo GTX Limited 300 is restricted to 65 mph under a gentlemen’s agreement between the U.S. Coast Guard and PWC manufacturers. However, under ideal conditions and with a light load, this ski can even hit 67-70 mph in stock condition!
When it comes to aftermarket modifications, overriding a speed limiter on a GTX 300 results in a top speed of 72+ mph, while with some (expensive) performance mods, it can reach an impressive top speed of 80-85 mph.
